CNC Machinist Job Description The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to machine parts for the aerospace, defense, and space industries. The role may also include cross-training in deburring, cleaning, and assisting in other areas as needed. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes. Machine parts for aerospace, defense, and space industries. Cross-train in deburring and cleaning tasks. Assist in various other duties as required. Essential Skills Experience with CNC machining and CNC programming. Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Ability to work with tight tolerances of 5/10th. Knowledge of Fanuc control systems. Understanding of G & M codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with machines such as Matsuras, Mori Seikis, Toyota, and EDM machines. Familiarity with 5-axis machining and machine setup. Experience with Mastercam and SPREE software. Motivated and eager to learn. Mechanically inclined and driven to help out. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
