Position Overview We are seeking a motivated, highly experienced CNC Machinist to step into a Setter/Operator/Leading Hand role. This is a hands on leadership position ideal for someone who can lead by example, support junior team members, and maintain high standards on the shop floor. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills (Okuma machines) Edit and troubleshoot programs on Okuma controls (P200 and newer) Lead and support a team of machinists and operators Ensure parts meet quality and surface finish requirements Optimize machining processes for efficiency and consistency Train and mentor less experienced staff Maintain a safe and organized work environment Requirements Extensive experience with Okuma lathes and mills Strong proficiency with Okuma P200 (and newer) controls Proven ability to set up complex jobs independently Leadership or supervisory experience in a machining environment Strong communication skills and team oriented mindset Solid understanding of GD&T and quality standards What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Medical benefits after qualifying period Stable, long term opportunity in a growing company Supportive, team focused environment Opportunity to make a real impact in a small organization
