Full Job Description:

Se-up, prepare and run computer numerically controlled (CNC) three (3) and five (5) axis mill to process parts or other work pieces made of metal material. Read and apply set up instructions and specifications. May also perform basic maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Reads work orders, blueprints, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Edit program and make adjustments at the machine, determine zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; Sets-up 5 Axis machines by setting proper tools. Adjusts feeds and speeds as necessary for type of material that is running. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces. Background tool-path process improvement Tool Setting Detects malfunctions; troubleshoots Complete In-process inspection of each part and complete paperwork. Keep 5 axis machines running at Efficiently. Maintain coolant and way lube levels and lubrication of tools in holder for optimal machine operation Observe tool wear/breakage and replace worn/broken tools.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 Year Work Experience in 5 Axis Machine Operation Good inspection skills Flexible Schedule to accommodate for OT Coordination of work flow, Attention to Detail, Hold Tight Tolerances Mechanical skills to troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs. Experience operating 5 axis mills Knowledge of tooling for Aluminum and High Temperature Materials Experience with latest FANUC control interfaces Good ability to use inspection hand tools Positive Attitude and ability to work on a TEAM Can safely lift 50 pounds

$20.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
