Full Job Description Job Description:
Fabrication of parts by setting up, and operating a (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment.
Responsibilities:
Reads work orders, blueprints, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) Edits program and make adjustments at the machine, determine zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry Sets-up CNC machine by installing proper tools. Adjusts feeds and speeds as necessary for material running Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces Detects malfunctions; troubleshoots Complete In-process inspection of each part and complete paperwork Keep CNC machines running at 100% Efficiency Maintain coolant and way lube levels and lubrication of tools in holder for optimal machine operation Observe tool wear and replace worn tools Can safely lift 50 pounds
Requirements:
10+ Years Work Experience in CNC Machine Operation Good inspection skills Flexible Schedule to accommodate for OT Coordination of work flow, Attention to Detail, Hold Tight Tolerances Mechanical skills to troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs.
