Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Operate manual lathe and mills machines to fabricate metal parts according to specifications
• Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure proper operation
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
• Perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet required standards
• Use hand tools and measuring instruments to inspect and measure finished parts
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product quality
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments or repairs
• Package finished parts for shipment or delivery

Skills:

• Proficient in operating manual lathe and mills machines and related equipment
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Experience with quality control procedures and inspections
• Knowledge of materials handling and warehouse operations
• Ability to use hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks

Note:

This an entry level position, light prior Work experience as a conventional machinist is required or trade machining school training.
