Lathe Duties:

• Set up and operate

CNC LATHE

machines to perform precision machining operations

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and machine accessories
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications
• Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
• Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a set-up

• Proficiency in operating HAAS controls.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
