Job:
Machine precision parts according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions Operate and set up vertical milling machines (CNC and manual) Review blueprints, bills of materials, and specifications to determine machining processes and requirements Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and part-holding methods Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure they meet required tolerances Identify defects and recommend improvements or program adjustments as needed Provide estimates for machining and programming time for job quotes Support engineering and assembly teams with troubleshooting and quality evaluations Perform additional duties as needed in a fast-paced production environment What isNeeded:
High school diploma or GED required 5-10 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment Strong experience with CNC controls and vertical milling operations Proven ability to set up and run jobs with minimal supervision Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Basic computer skills (email, word processing) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Work environment & requirements: On-site position (no travel required) Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on production needs Manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels Ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs Strong visual acuity required, including close and color vision What's in it forYou:
