Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pressor to join our manufacturing team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of industrial presses, ensuring precision and quality in every product. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery, including stamping presses, flexo presses, CNC machines, and other fabrication tools. Your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency and excellence of our manufacturing processes, supporting our commitment to delivering top-tier products. Duties Operate and monitor different types of presses such as stamping presses, flexo presses, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, CNC programming equipment, and press brake machines to produce high-quality components. Set up machinery by installing tooling, adjusting parameters, and calibrating equipment according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAD files to ensure accurate fabrication. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery including Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and CNC systems to minimize downtime. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; ensure proper storage and inventory management. Conduct quality control inspections utilizing calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and other tools to verify dimensions and adherence to specifications. Collaborate with assembly line teams for seamless integration of fabricated parts into final products; support fabrication, welding, tooling setup, and assembly tasks as needed. Maintain detailed records of production activities, machine settings, inspections, and maintenance logs for compliance and continuous improvement. Skills Proficiency with Fanuc controls and CNC programming for precise machine operation. Strong mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment such as stamping presses, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brakes, and welding tools. Experience with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings; familiarity with GD&T standards. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not mandatory. Skilled in using hand tools like calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality assurance. Knowledge of CAM programming software (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) for machining operations. Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks for design review or modifications. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during setup or troubleshooting. Understanding of manufacturing processes including fabrication, machining, stamping, packaging, and assembly line workflows. Factory experience in a manufacturing facility environment; ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining safety standards.
