• Prototype Machining | 2nd Shift Englewood, CO Monday-Thursday | 4:00 PM-2:30 AM 4-Day Work Week | 3-Day Weekends We're hiring an experienced CNC Setup Machinist for a prototype and precision machining environment (highly sought after company) in Englewood, CO.

This is a hands-on role focused on prototype, custom, and low-volume parts — not repetitive high-volume production. We're looking for a machinist who can independently set up CNC machines, make offsets and program edits, troubleshoot at the machine, and run quality parts from print. Mazak and Mazatrol experience is preferred, but not required. No CNC programming experience is necessary. What You'll Do Independently set up and operate CNC machines Machine prototype, custom, and low-volume components Perform frequent setups and changeovers for new and changing parts Set tooling, fixtures, workholding, and tool/work offsets Make program edits at the machine as needed Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Inspect your own parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision measuring tools Troubleshoot tooling, setup, dimensional, and machining issues Make adjustments to maintain tolerances and part quality Take ownership of setups and keep jobs moving with minimal supervision What We're Looking For Previous CNC Setup Machinist / CNC Machinist experience Ability to perform CNC setups independently Experience with prototype, job shop, custom, or low-volume machining strongly preferred Strong knowledge of tooling, fixtures, offsets, and machine changeovers Comfortable making CNC program edits at the control Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills Mazak / Mazatrol experience preferred, not required Tool & die, precision machining, or custom manufacturing experience is a plus Great Backgrounds for This Role CNC Setup Machinist Prototype Machinist CNC Machinist Mazak Machinist Mazatrol Machinist CNC Mill Machinist CNC Lathe Machinist Tool & Die Machinist Job Shop Machinist Precision Machinist Why Consider This Opportunity?
