We're seeking an experienced CNC Set Up Machinist to set up and run advanced multi-axis turning and/or milling machines, playing a vital role in the production of mission-critical aerospace parts. Key Responsibilities Interpret complex aerospace blueprints and operation sheets using your expertise in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Set up and operate advanced CNC multi-axis mills with precision and efficiency, meeting tight aerospace tolerances. Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, micro height gauges, and dial indicators to ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards. Accurately document inspection results and key dimensions in our ERP system. Troubleshoot and resolve machining or tooling issues to maintain seamless aerospace production flow. Perform routine preventative maintenance and uphold machine reliability. Maintain a safe, organized, and AS9100-compliant work area while following all safety and quality protocols. What You Bring to the Team High school diploma or equivalent education required. 3-5 years of CNC machining experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing, including set-up and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of aerospace quality requirements and documentation practices. Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls highly preferred. CAM Software experience highly preferred. (Mastercam) Lean Manufacturing background is a plus. Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Proficiency in basic PC applications (Windows, Outlook, Excel).
