Position Description:

The CNC Machinist performs complex machine setups on 3, 4 and 5 axis machines, has G & M code knowledge, and is able to run and inspect parts with little to no supervision.

Essential Responsibilities:

Ability to setup and run machines accurately, and efficiently Able to read operation sheets and blueprints Able to maintain quality standards and accurately measure completed work Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staff Other duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred 1+ years of CNC machine operation HAAS and Okuma control knowledge a plus G & M code understanding Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude Interested in learning with, and from, engineering and programming team to improve operations
