Location US-CT-Groton Seat Location EB Groton Shipyard Trade Building Trades Shift 1st, 2nd, 3rd Security Clearance Required Secret Overview Assembly of valves, gearboxes, operators, trunks, and other mechanical components. Disassembly and troubleshooting of same. Perform fitting, scraping, grinding, and honing. Install and torque fasteners. Precision measurement of parts. Completion of hardcopy and electronic documentation. Perform hydrostatic and air testing of components. Use hand tools, portable power tools, and hydraulic torqueing equipment.
