VTL Machinist - 2nd Shift $30 - $34 per hour + Shift Premium + Quarterly Bonus + Quarterly Pay Increases + Extra Pay for Running Multiple Machines + Overtime (Time and a Half + Double Time Sundays) + Full Benefits + 401(k) Match + Air-Conditioned Facility + Progression + Training! Hartford, CT Are you a VTL or Lathe Machinist with tight-tolerance experience looking to join a market-leading manufacturer with quarterly pay increases and a clear path to progress? Do you want to work in a clean, air-conditioned facility on high-quality precision parts, with the chance to earn more by running multiple machines? This is a well-established, market-leading manufacturer in the middle of a significant growth phase. In this role, you will set up and run vertical turret lathes to produce precision parts to tight tolerances, working from blueprints on materials including steel and titanium. You will have the opportunity to run multiple machines for additional pay, with hands-on training and shadowing provided by senior machinists to help you progress through the pay grades. This role would suit a VTL or experienced Lathe Machinist with a tight-tolerance background, looking to move into a role with strong earning potential, quarterly increases, and progression.
The Role:
Setting up and running vertical turret lathes to produce precision parts. Working to tight tolerances from blueprints on steel, titanium, and other materials. Running multiple machines for additional pay while maintaining high-quality standards.
