full-time Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a variety of manual machines (Knee Mills, Lathes and Boring Mills etc.) to produce precision parts
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations
- Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation for machining operations
- Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers etc.
- Make adjustments to machine settings to ensure proper functioning and optimal performance
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proficiency in programming for CNC machines
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques, including milling, turning, drilling, and grinding
- Experience with power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment
- Familiarity with manufacturing principles and practices Benefits
