Job Description
CNC Machinist responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment to produce precision parts from engineering specifications, blueprints, and sketches. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED 5 years of CNC machining experience CNC milling experience Experience with CNC setup and operation G&M code experience Experience deburring machined parts Ability to detect tool wear and make offset changes Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications Experience working with a variety of metals and plastics under close tolerances Preferred Skills HAAS machine experience Multi-axis CNC lathe experience Experience determining machining processes, tooling, and programming requirements Experience producing precision parts in a close-tolerance manufacturing environment Job Responsibilities Program, set up, and run CNC multi-axis lathes Set up and operate CNC milling equipment Interpret engineering specifications, blueprints, and sketches Determine machining processes, tooling, and programming requirements Make G&M code adjustments as needed Detect tool wear during machining operations Make offset changes to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy Deburr machined parts Machine parts from metals and plastics to close tolerances Verify completed parts against drawings and specifications
