Job Description

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machine tools to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate has strong machining knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications. Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of CNC machining experience. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators. Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds, and speeds. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Experience with Fanuc Knowledge of G-code programming and editing. Experience with multi-axis machining centers. Technical school or machining certification. Experience with ISO or AS9100 quality systems. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
