Responsibilities:

• Hands-on Machining:

  Set up, operate, and edit programs on HAAS 3-axis mills for high-precision components.

• Material Variety:

  Work with a wide range of materials from aluminum and stainless steel to engineered plastics and tool steel.

• Custom Solutions:

  Develop and produce custom fixturing and contribute directly to process improvements.

• Must operate with good manufacturing practices daily.

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, associate degree, trade school training or apprenticeship program in a mechanical discipline or tool and die making.
• 2+ years of operating CNC mills (preferably HAAS 3-axis) ...
• Ability to read/comprehend technical prints and tolerances in metric dimensioning.
• Have proven ability to edit/verify programs on the HAAS conversational control for multi-axis parts.
• Must have the ability to set-up parts and cutting tools accurately.
• Must be able to develop and produce fixtures when needed.
• Ability to inspect close tolerance part features using gage blocks, indicators, bore gages, micrometers, etc.
• Experience in machining various materials i.
