As a Machinist, you will be working with a variety of machines and manufacturing equipment as needed and per blueprint or job order specifications. You will also be repairing and maintaining your equipment as needed, assisting other machinists with larger tasks, and maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, previous experience in a precision CNC job shop environment, and the ability to work well with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Read blueprints or job orders. Program and setup and troubleshoot customer jobs Inspect products per print, and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance to print Conduct basic preventive maintenance on equipment in your care Maintain orderly housekeeping and a safe work environment. On-time and consistent attendance Qualifications 5 years plus experience as a machinist is a job shop production environment. 5 years plus experience in setting up and troubleshooting precision machining jobs The ability to read and inspect parts per blueprints Experience in using precision measuring tools and equipment to take accurate measurements Excellent attention to detail Ability to multitask Strong analytical skills 5 years plus experience in applying GD&T Mazatrol experience is a plus
