Panama City, Florida working with watermill, lathes, etc. This will require a motivated individual that can produce products in a Rapid Prototype setting. # of Hires Needed 2 Hiring Manager Chapman, Krista (Management Analyst II - Maintenance Support Group (1.01)) Job Requirements Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to produce high-precision components. Interpret complex blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements. Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting speeds to achieve optimal results. Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment to ensure tolerances are met. Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements for efficiency and quality. Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to refine designs and processes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with government regulations. 10+ years of experience as a machinist in a precision manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CNC programming (Fanuc, Haas, or similar) and manual machining techniques. Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Experience with precision measuring tools and quality inspection processes. A problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
