Schedule:
Part Time, 20-29 Hours a week (Within the following schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm; Friday, 6:00am-3:30pm)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required 2+ years of machine shop experience Experience with manual machining to include manual mill and manual lathe setup and operation. Stand and walk for long periods; lifting up to 30lbs regularly Ability to work part time, 20-30 hours a week; times and days are flexible as long as the hours are within the following schedule: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4:30pm and Friday 7am to 3:30pm. Employer has production and attendance standards.
Overview:
This is an opportunity for an experienced machinist who enjoys precision work, flexible hours, and contributing to high-quality aerospace manufacturing programs. You'll work in a hands-on machine shop environment supporting critical production efforts, with the potential for long-term placement based on performance and project demand. If you take pride in accuracy, craftsmanship, and working from detailed drawings, this role offers stability, flexibility, and exposure to meaningful aerospace projects.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate the manual milling machine to manufacture parts in accordance with company specifications and procedures Follow instructions set forth on the latest revision-controlled drawing and documentation Load parts and tooling onto milling machine Measure and deburr parts to ensure accuracy Additional responsibilities as assigned
