Job Description
About Us Manufacturing and repair of large industrial equipment . This is not tool & die work—our projects involve heavy-duty, large-scale components requiring precision and expertise. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist with a strong background in manual lathes and vertical/horizontal boring mills . Candidates with CNC experience (Fanuc controls & G-Code programming) will be highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Operate manual lathes, vertical boring mills, and horizontal boring mills Machine and repair large industrial components to precise specifications Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics Maintain tight tolerances and proper runout Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Support shop operations including rigging and overhead crane use Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards Qualifications 5-10+ years of manual machining experience (preferred) Strong experience with: Manual lathes Vertical & horizontal boring mills Working knowledge of: Fanuc CNC controls G-Code manual programming (preferred) Ability to: Read and interpret blueprints Perform SAE & metric conversions Understand basic metallurgy principles Experience maintaining tight tolerances and precision measurements Familiarity with rigging and overhead crane operation Benefits Health Insurance 401(k) Plan Paid Holidays End-of-Year Production Bonus How to Apply Resume required to apply Pay is negotiable based on experience and skill level
