SV Microwave appreciates and rewards a good craftsperson who enjoys challenges and is dedicated to producing the highest quality products. We offer an excellent work environment in a clean, organized facility. This opening is for the 2nd shift with a work schedule of Monday-Friday, @4pm to 12am. Responsibilities Set up and run CNC Swiss machines to produce high quality piece parts with best cycle time Complete a specified number of set-ups per day (generally two) Produce and be responsible for quality of parts Maintain clean, organized and safe area Maintain machines in excellent working order Maintain accurately all pertinent paperwork and records (e.g., labor reporting) Make any and all programming adjustments to insure dimensional and cosmetic quality Report any malfunctions to maintenance dept. Perform other duties as required Requirements Previous CNC set-up experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering orders, and all appropriate manuals/specifications Experience with G-codes, small components and tight tolerances is required Knowledge of measuring devices and their operation, e.g., micrometers, calipers, drop gages Good mechanical ability Operation of optical comparator Good computer skills Math skills Desired
