Job Description
Pamarco is the Global Leader of anilox roll manufacturing and is the leading provider of superior and proven technology solutions for the printing, packaging and converting industries worldwide. Our Atlanta, GA location is seeking a full time Machinist for a 2nd or 3rd shift position.
Set-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads.
Able to drill and tap, use grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions, sharpening, and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

Conceptual Skills:
Skilled on Manual Lathe, Mills, bandsaw and basic hand tools.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances.Set-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads.

Experience:
2-5 years' experience with manual lathe/ mill High school diploma or GED requiredLanguage Skills:
Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.Physical Demands:
Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane. Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Benefits:
