CNC Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating CNC machines and producing precision parts according to specifications. Immediate need for Mill and or Lathe experience. Open to entry level applicants looking to learn and apply themselves to the trade as well.Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, milling, etc.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance
Requirements:
- Proficiency in CNC setup and operation, programming a plus.
- Primarily setting up jobs and proofing programs and helping to operate depending on workload.
- Experience with Lathe (Mazak, Doosan(Fanuc), ProtoTRAK) controls
- Experience with Mill (Haas, Fadal, ProtoTRAK) controls
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, calipers, micrometers etc.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and mechanical processes This position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, has strong problem-solving skills, and can work effectively in a team environment.
