CNC Mill Machinist

CNC Mill Machinist Must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, good attendance record and attention to detail. Able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Need good verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Mechanical Aptitude. Able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and a walk behind floor scrubber if needed. Proficient computer skills. Set-up and operate multiple machines to produce parts with the use of fixtures and jigs. Familiarity with 2D CNC Programs, CNC Programming is desired, but not necessary. MasterCam Programming preferrable (mills). Proficient with measuring instruments such as a Micrometers, Calipers, Depth Gauges and Go / No-Go Thread Gauges Able to interpret blueprints and familiarity with GD&T. Experience with robotics and automation a plus. Other duties as assigned.

Job Details:

Hours may fluctuate with workload. First Shift Machinist Full-Time hours are generally 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Second Shift Machinist Full-Time hours are generally 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Overtime may be required as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent The ability to lift more than 65 pounds unrestricted. Works as part of a team and assists with training of others as directed. Communicates and works with a positive, professional approach. Follows through and meets commitments. Follows safety procedures, protocols, policies. While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand up, walk, bend, stretch, lift and reach most of the day during an 8-hour shift. Work efficiently. Maintain, clean, and organize work area.
