Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and program CNC machines to produce precision parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety in our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Operate CNC milling machines, lathes, grinders, and manual machining tools to produce complex metal components Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications Program CNC machines using G-code, M-code, and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as Fanuc controls and SolidWorks for tooling design Set up machines by installing tooling, calibrating equipment with precision measurement instruments like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines Perform machine setup procedures including fixture installation, tool changes, and calibration to ensure accurate production runs Conduct quality inspections using measurement tools to verify dimensions and tolerances meet specifications Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols including the use of power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and forklift operation when necessary Experience Proven experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages including G-code and M-code Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks or CAD programs for part design interpretation Mechanical blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret mechanical drawings accurately Experience with machining tools such as grinders, boring bars, and other metalworking equipment Basic math skills for measurement calculations and process adjustments Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency Ability to perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines for quality control Join our team if you're passionate about precision machining!
