Job Summary Operate and set up CNC milling and lathe machines. Read blueprints, measure parts, make machine adjustments, and make sure parts meet quality requirements.

Shift:

Day & Swing available Pay rate: $25+ - depending on experience CNC Mill- Opening Set up and operate CNC milling machines. Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Load and secure parts in fixtures. Monitor machines and make adjustments when needed. Monitor tool wear and replace tools or inserts. Use G-code and M-code as needed. Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators. Check parts to make sure they meet print specifications. Perform basic deburring, sanding, and finishing. Clean parts using approved cleaning methods. CNC Lathe- Opening Set up and operate CNC lathe machines. Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Load and secure parts in fixtures. Monitor machines and make adjustments when needed. Monitor tool wear and replace tools or inserts. Use G-code and M-code as needed. Clean parts using approved cleaning methods. General Requirements 3+ years of CNC machining experience preferred, or completion of an apprenticeship or technical program. Knowledge of CNC milling and/or lathe machines. Ability to read blueprints and work instructions. Basic knowledge of GD&T and close tolerances. Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Basic computer skills. Good attention to detail and quality. Good communication and work ethic. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Willingness to work overtime or weekends when needed. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 35 pounds safely. Ability to use lifting assistance when needed. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints accurately and apply GD&T principles effectively. Mechanical aptitude combined with problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot machine issues efficiently.
