at Marvel Manufacturing LLC in Lewiston, Idaho, United States Job Description Marvel Manufacturing is a growing precision CNC machine shop in Lewiston, ID. Our business is serving people, not just making parts ("People first, Parts included"). We offer multi-axis turning, Swiss machining, milling, and 5-axis machining with a focus on medium-volume production of small to medium-sized parts. This position is crucial to growing Marvel Manufacturing's capacity to serve current customers and attain new customers. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced machinist to utilize their skills in a growing small shop environment. The ideal applicant is self-motivated and willing to perform a variety of duties.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills Program and edit parts Inspect parts to ensure they are within tolerance and meet customer requirements Saw and prep material Maintain a safe working environment Champion Marvel Manufacturing's Core Values Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Proficient at operating CNC machine tools Able to read and interpret blueprints Proficient in basic math skills Able to read and follow work instructions and other pertinent documentation Proficient in basic computer functions Experience Machinist I $22
- 28 (DOE) 1 year or no experience if the employee has completed a high school or college-level machining program Operating CNC machine tools Reading blueprints and inspecting parts with precision measuring instruments Machinist II $26
- 32 (DOE) 2 years or 1 year if the employee has completed a high school or college-level machining program Setup and operation of CNC machine tools Performing tool and work offsets to maintain tolerances Reading blueprints and inspecting parts with precision measuring instruments Some CNC Programming and editing experience Machinist III $30
- 38 (DOE) 4 years or 3 years if the employee has completed a high school or college-level machining program Setup and operation of CNC machine tools Performing tool and work offsets to maintain tolerances Reading blueprints and inspecting parts with precision measuring instruments Creating fixtures for setups CAM Programming experience required (Fusion 360 preferred)
