With a history dating back to 1979, the firm maintains a commitment to excellence by handling all design processes internally. The facility employs 75 people and utilizes 12 machines, featuring 3-4 axis mills and turning centers equipped with live tooling. You will be tasked with the programming, setup, and operation of this equipment, utilizing Esprit software where necessary.

Shift Details:

First shift, four-day work week (Monday through Thursday, beginning at 6:00 AM) Voluntary overtime opportunities available during the weekend

Core Duties:

Execute setups, machine operation, and adjustments to maximize production output Conduct thorough first article inspections to ensure quality standards Develop part programs as required for specific projects Hand off completed jobs to machine operators Perform standard equipment maintenance tasks Assist with various shop floor requirements as the need arises

Requirements:

Five or more years of experience setting up and running CNC equipment, specifically milling centers and live tooling Proven ability to mentor and collaborate with fellow machinists and operators Proficiency in interpreting technical blueprints, including GD&T, and following verbal directions Familiarity with Fanuc and Mazatrol control systems Strong understanding and practical application of G-Code Expertise in utilizing precision measurement instrumentation Capability to create or modify specialized tooling for intricate part production Competency in basic computing, including Windows and Microsoft Office suite applications
