Cary, Illinois Are you looking to grow your career in precision machining? Do you enjoy working with advanced CNC equipment and producing high-quality components that support cutting-edge technology? Coilcraft, Inc. is a privately held global manufacturer headquartered in Cary, Illinois, with a 75+ year reputation for engineering excellence. Our high-performance magnetic components are used in telecommunications, automotive, computing, broadband communications, and consumer electronics around the world. We're looking for an Entry-Level CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2 years of machining experience-or recent trade school or apprenticeship experience-to continue developing their skills while working alongside experienced machinists in a clean, modern manufacturing environment. About the Role and Your Impact Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment Make basic tool offsets and machine adjustments Monitor machine performance and part quality Maintain production and inspection records Perform routine machine maintenance Work with engineering, quality, and production teams Follow company safety and quality standards Who We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of CNC machining experience preferred (trade school/apprenticeship accepted) Ability to read blueprints Experience with precision measuring tools Strong mechanical aptitude Attention to detail and strong work ethic Preferred Skills Experience with CNC mills or lathes Basic G-Code knowledge Machine setup and tool offset experience Precision manufacturing experience Lean Manufacturing knowledge Why You'll Love Working at Coilcraft Stable company with a 75+ year history Learn from experienced machinists Modern CNC equipment Career growth opportunities 401(k) match and profit sharing Benefits 401(k)
