Job Description

Job Title:
CNC Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to efficiently operate CNC equipment and contribute to the production process. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to accurately measure and handle materials according to inspection requirements. Responsibilities Operate CNC equipment, including loading and unloading materials. Stack and unload products as per instructions. Change inserts within 6 months and make offsets within 3 months. Communicate effectively with co-workers and management. Enter production quantity accurately in the ERP system. Input job data accurately as per MBP MMS requirements. Measure parts accurately using various gaging and metrology equipment. Participate in team activities as needed. Be a reliable 'go-to' person to ensure work is accomplished efficiently. Essential Skills 1-4 years of CNC operating experience required. High school diploma or GED. Strong mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Good written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic blueprint reading and understanding of GD&T. Proper measuring techniques with a variety of gauges. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior manufacturing experience in a job shop preferred. Experience with lathe operation and CNC setup. Knowledge in blueprint reading and programming. Understanding of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) is essential. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in an air-conditioned facility that is extremely clean and organized. The position is for the 1st shift, from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. The equipment used includes turning centers, automated cells, vertical machining centers, wire EDM, and various inspection equipment. The dress code is professional and safety-oriented, ensuring a comfortable and efficient work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lake Zurich, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00
