CNC Machinist- Second Shift

at Molex Inc in Monee, Illinois, United States Job Description CNC Machinist Molex is seeking amid or senior-levelCNCmachine operator to supportsecondshiftoperations at our manufacturing facility in Monee, IL. This is a full-time position. Hours of work arefourdays a week, Monday throughThursday, 2:30 PMto 1:00 AM,40 hoursper week. Summary/Objective The CNC machinistoperatescomputer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. The CNC machinist loads parts in the machine, cyclesmachineand detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workersregardingproductionsruns, andmaintainsa safe,organizedand clean work environment. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Performs all assigned machine shop operations. Detects andreportsdefective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures. Regularly performs bending, milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring,sawingand sanding tasks. Performs inspection of machined products, and documents results. Completes andmaintainspaperwork for parts.
