Job Description

CNC Machinist - Second Shift Sharpen Skills. Grow Pay. Own Your Future For the Machinist Who Wants More You've got a few solid years on CNC machines and you're ready for more than loading parts and pushing cycle start. This second-shift CNC Machinist role is for someone who wants real responsibility, more learning, and a clear path to a stronger career. Second shift here isn't a dead end—it's where you get more access to setups, edits, and problem-solving that grow your value fast. What You'll Do Run CNC turning and/or milling centers (vertical and horizontal). Read blueprints, dimensions, and geometric tolerancing so you know exactly what "good" is. Handle different part sizes, weights, and materials (including metals and castings), using cranes/slings when needed. Set and adjust tool offsets, work with Fanuc controls, and use G and M codes with confidence. Make CNC program edits and changes so jobs run smoother over time. Catch issues early, fix problems at the machine, and prevent scrap. Communicate clearly with your team to keep work flowing from shift to shift. Skills You'll Build Over the next few years, this role can help you sharpen: CNC machining in turning and/or milling. Fanuc controls and practical programming edits. Blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing. Tool selection, offsets, and how they affect size, finish, and cycle time. Problem-solving, time management, and communication on a busy shift. What You Bring Current or recent shop employment and a clear reason you're open to a move. Ability to work Monday-Friday on either: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, or 4:20 pm - 2:50 am (second shift), plus overtime when needed. A few years of CNC experience—turning, milling, or both. Familiarity with tolerances, Fanuc controls, G/M codes, tool offsets, and basic CNC edits. Strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in doing the job right. Ready to Level Up? If you're a CNC Machinist who wants more responsibility, more learning, and a second shift that actually builds your future, this is your chance. When you apply, include: Your current employment status and why you're considering a change. Which shift you can commit to. The @types of machines, controls, and work (turning/milling) you know best.
