Cnc Machinist

Job Title:

CNC Machinist Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, and Friday, 6:30 am to 12:00 pm. Job Description As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC turning centers and machining centers. This role requires the ability to set up jobs independently or with minimal supervision, utilizing gages and measuring instruments to ensure tolerance requirements are met. You will read and interpret blueprints and work instructions accurately while maintaining a neat and organized work area. Responsibilities Program and run CNC turning centers and machining centers. Set up jobs independently or with minimal assistance. Utilize gages and measuring instruments to verify tolerance requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions accurately. Safely load and unload materials in machinery. Provide all required data accurately and reliably. Maintain a neat and organized work area. Collaborate and communicate effectively with Shop Foreman, Management, and other staff. Essential Skills Experience with CNC Mills or Lathes. Proficiency in using mics and cals. Strong blueprint reading skills. Experience with drill press, lathe, machine operating, and CNC equipment. Ability to program using g code. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with G code or conversational programming is a plus. Familiarity with setups is advantageous. Familiarity with Fusion 360 or willingness to learn. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds as required. Comfortable working on your feet and using your hands. Identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and eliminate waste. Commitment to safety and following established procedures. Take initiative and stay productive without constant supervision. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Woodstock, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr. paid holidays, PTO, Medical, Vision, Dental, Life, Short- Term, Long-Term Insurances as well as a 40-hour work week, half day Fridays and 401K.
