Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
Associate performs all safety checks at the start of shift on all cranes and tools, documents as necessary and continues to perform safety checks throughout the shift. Read production work orders to determine type and quantity of materials required. Examine material received, verify part numbers, and check for discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts. Set up and process material on the Circle Shear, Punch Press, Square Shear, and Fiber Laser as required. Skid raw material steel per job in preparation for the metal spinning operations. Perform inspections using Quality Assurance procedures and work instructions. Assignments can change frequently from general cleaning, sorting parts, and general housekeeping.
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE
Proper operation of hoists and cranes in a safe manner and complete any training/safety program relating to the operation of the equipment. Operate company computer systems. Operate general hand tools. Operate shop floor equipment.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectations. Ability to understand and support company policies and procedures. Ability to understand and abide by all safety rules and regulations to perform the job. Ability to read blueprints. Possess good communication and reasoning skills with the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions whether written or oral.
