EDM Machinist

Compensation:

Up to $32 per hour (DOE) with a 10% differential for 2nd Shift position. No Mandatory Overtime! Weekly Pay!

Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to cut complex shapes from various conductive materials. Write and modify CNC programs for precision part fabrication. Install fixtures, set up wire EDM machines, and prepare for production runs. Inspect and measure finished parts using precision gauges and indicators to ensure they meet strict specifications and tolerances. Identify and resolve issues that arise during machine operation to maintain efficiency and quality. Perform preventative maintenance on EDM machines to keep them in optimal working condition.

Additional Skills:

Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, particularly with Wire EDM machines. A strong understanding of machine tools and mechanical principles. Ability to work with high precision and a keen eye for detail. Skills to diagnose and address issues with machine performance or part quality. Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings. Understanding of various electrically conductive materials and their properties.
