Job Description
Set up, operate, and support machine shop equipment while applying blueprint interpretation, machining standards, and maintenance practices in a manufacturing environment. Job Requirements 5-8 years of proven experience in a machine shop environment Ability to work at various heights and equipment levels Ability to work in a standing position while operating equipment Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures Ability to follow safe work instructions Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Understanding and application of ISO standard tolerancing systems and

standards Ability to read, write, and understand G-code and M-code Willingness to complete a Mechanical/Machinist Aptitude Test Ability and availability to complete additional college-level courses if required Preferred Skills Ability to use measurement equipment including dial calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and inspection/calibration equipment Mechanical problem-solving experience Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, piping, boiler, and steam systems Preventive maintenance experience Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Knowledge of workplace standardization and 5S practices Experience with operator maintenance including cleaning, inspection, and lubrication Thorough knowledge of mechanical equipment Job Responsibilities Operate machine shop equipment in accordance with safety standards and work instructions Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to support machining operations Apply ISO tolerancing andASME Y14.5
standards during setup and production Read and work with G-code and M-code in machining operations Use precision measurement and inspection equipment to verify parts and setups Support mechanical troubleshooting and problem resolution in machine shop operations Perform operator maintenance including cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of equipment Support preventive maintenance activities Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness in accordance with 5S standards Work across varying equipment heights and shop floor conditions to support production needsPay Details:
