In this role, you will operate and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Swiss Lathe to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will drive efficiency and excellence in our production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work to contribute to innovative projects, and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment committed to continuous improvement. Responsibilities Write and edit CNC Programs using CAM software (ESPRIT) Set up CNC lathe machines: select and install tools and work holding, load raw material, and load or adjust programs and machine offsets. Troubleshoot machining issues such as tool wear, program errors, setup problems, and minor equipment malfunctions, escalating to maintenance when needed. Coordinate or perform basic machine maintenance and ensure preventive maintenance is completed to minimize downtime. Follow safety procedures around cutting tools, coolants, and heavy materials. Drive continuous improvement and process reliability Communicate status, issues, and production metrics to higher-level management Skills 5-10 years experience with set-ups, program writing in a Swiss lathe environment PC skills (e.g., ERP, MS Office) CAM Software such as Esprit, Autodesk Fusion, Mastercam, CAMWorks 5D Modeling Associate's in CNC Machinist, Precision Machining Technology, etc highly desirable
