Job Description
Maintenance / Packaging Machinist Location of the job: Hammond IN (Unionized)
Rotating Shift Hours:
(1st week) 7:00 am- 3:15 pm (2nd week) 3:00 pm
- 11:15 (3rd week) 11:00 pm
- 7:15 am Base Pay Rate
- $ $39.49 (with increases after completion of training/probationary periods to $ 44.14)

- Packaging Machinist will under minimal direction of management or other employees, safely performs and guides: the coordination and repair, replacement, installation, inspection, enhancement, optimization, testing and troubleshooting of all pack floor facilities, including high-speed packaging equipment such as cartoners, case packers, etc. Who You Are & What You'll Do As the Maintenance
- Packaging Machinist must have mechanical experience and knowledge with high-speed packaging equipment, hydraulics including DCV valves, pneumatics including different types of actuating cylinders, gearboxes, drive systems, transport conveyors and associated subcomponents, and performing line mechanical changeovers.

etc.) Required to train others, participate in training design and initiate efforts to develop or modify training programs. Required to stay up to date on emerging technologies and techniques relating to area(s) of expertise.Maintains and cleans:
