Step into a second-shift role operating Swiss-style CNC lathes and help deliver components that meet rigorous ISO standards—while developing the skills to advance. The mission Join a growth-minded medical device manufacturer in South Bend, IN as a direct hire through TekPro. You will operate Citizen-preferred Swiss lathes, ensure process stability, and uphold documentation and quality at every step. Your evening challenge Set up at your station around 2:00/2:30 PM and run through 12:00/12:30 AM, with overtime available Load and unload parts; watch cycle times and tool wear closely Make offsets and minor adjustments to keep parts within spec Measure features using calipers, micrometers, and comparators Read and follow blueprints and SOPs Record production and quality data in accordance with ISO requirements What sets you up for success 1+ year of CNC machining or machine operation experience Ability to interpret prints and use precision gauges Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Nice to have: CNC schooling, certificate, or technical training Ambition to grow into setup or full machinist roles Why this opportunity Pay starting at $22.00-$26.00 per hour Hands-on Swiss CNC development and mentoring Clean, organized shop focused on quality Consistent hours with overtime potential Clearly defined advancement pathway About TekPro TekPro is a direct-hire recruiting partner to leading manufacturers.
