In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain advanced machining equipment to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical systems, ensuring efficient production processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-precision manufacturing projects across various industries, including plastics injection molding and aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and program CNC machines such as CNC lathes and milling machines, primarily utilizing Fanuc controls Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications Set up tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters to produce precise parts within tight tolerances Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines for quality assurance Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste Collaborate with engineering teams on CNC programming adjustments using CAM software and SolidWorks or CAD for design validation Conduct electrical discharge machining (EDM) operations when required for complex geometries Assist in assembly processes and welding tasks as needed to complete finished products Maintain accurate documentation of machining processes, inspection reports, and tooling records Operate forklifts and power tools safely within the manufacturing environment •Please note, this role will require secondary interview•

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Machinist Level III or similar advanced machining role with a strong mechanical background Proficiency in CNC programming languages and G-code editing Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and precision measurement techniques Hands-on experience with CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, EDM equipment, and associated tooling Familiarity with Fanuc control systems and CAM programming software Skilled in the use of calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision instruments Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes is a plus Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift safely Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance and safety compliance Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments in a diverse manufacturing environment If you are committed to excellence in precision machining and eager to contribute your expertise within a dynamic team environment, we encourage you to apply today.
