Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to machine precision components according to specifications. Select, install, and properly set cutting tools, fixtures, and machine offsets. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and machining specifications. Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet required tolerances and quality standards. Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools. Monitor machining operations, troubleshoot setup or tooling issues, and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity. Perform routine machine maintenance (maintain coolant and machine lubrication) maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
