CNC Lathe Machinist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinist with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in setup and operation of Doosan CNC lathes, along with a strong commitment to precision, efficiency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Doosan CNC lathes
• Interpret and edit G-code on Fanuc controllers as needed (writing from scratch is a plus)
• Interpret complex drawings and technical specifications and perform quality checks to ensure part need the standard
• Adjust appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for optimal performance
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize production processes
• Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure a safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and tooling
• Experience with live tooling is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

$28.00 - $33.00 per hour
