$17 - $20 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 3:30

PMeducation:

High SchoolResponsibilities Machine Operation:

Load raw metal stock (brass, aluminum, stainless steel) into CNC machines, initiate machining cycles, and monitor production runs.

Setup & Adjustments:

Assist with machine setup, load correct tooling, and perform basic offset adjustments or program debugging when required.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect first-article and production parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, height gauges) to ensure adherence to tight tolerances.

Blueprint Reading:

Interpret technical drawings, engineering blueprints, and process sheets to verify dimensions and finishing specs.

Maintenance & Cleanliness:

Perform routine preventative maintenance (coolant checks, chip removal, daily lubrication) and maintain a clean, organized work area (5S standards).

Documentation:

Log daily production counts, cycle times, non-conformance reports, and scrap counts accurately.
