Job Description

Machinist/ Tool Maker Cutting Edge Machine & Tool, LLC. Cutting Edge Machine & Tool is seeking candidates who are highly motivated and have strong experience in running a mill/ lathe machine. We are looking for individuals who are passionate and have a strong desire to continually learn the trade. Must be able to problem solve on a daily basis and effectively work in a fast-paced environment. A preferred applicant would have at least 4 years of experience with a wide variety of knowledge in mathematics and programming
CAD & CAM
Software. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and dependable and takes pride in what they do. The applicant must have a positive attitude to be beneficial to our current team.
Compensation:
$18.00-35.00/ Commensurate with experience, pay scale will be determined by your skillset.
Hours:
Full-time; 40-50 hour work weeks with overtime availability Comprehensive benefit package: 401K, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance, Dental Insurance and Paid Vacation & Holiday Pay.
Required Skills:
Strong Experience in running mill and lathe machines. Must have a strong ability analyzing drawings, solid models and/or sketches to determine type and sequence of machine operations. Determine proper tooling selection for each part taking into account speeds, feeds and machine limitations. Ability to work with programmers to overcome any problems that could occur during machining process. Fluently experienced with using micrometers and different measuring tools. Experience with Proto Trak, Mazak, Hurco, surface grinding, and mig/ tig welding is a plus. Experience with CAM Software and SolidWorks is a plus. Has to be an effective communicator. High level of organization and discipline is needed. Strong mechanical skills and aptitude needed.
