The Role:

Run multiple CNC machines using G-code and conversational programming.
Precision Machining:
Interpret blueprints, machine parts to tight tolerances, and manage 2-15 pallet setups.
Quality Control:
Perform first-article and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Logistics:

High SchoolResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities Efficiently operate multiple CNC machines, maintaining productivity and quality standards. Program, set up, and operate CNC machines using G code and conversational programming. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and sketches to determine the necessary operations and tools required for machining. Machine parts to tight tolerances, using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify accuracy. Prepare tooling requirements as specified in the setup instructions provided with each job order. Manually insert parts into work holding devices as per instructions for each assignment. Execute the machining process, performing first article inspections and subsequent machining of components after approval from the Quality Assurance department. Conduct in-process inspections to ensure integrity throughout the lot/batch of parts. Keep multiple pallets loaded and ready for machining, depending on the machine being operated (2-15 pallets). Record start and end times associated with each operation using a barcoded job order system. Operate dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed for material handling. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
