Role Overview The Manufacturing Services II role operates computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, including lathes and milling machines, to manufacture precision parts. This role is responsible for setting up equipment, and monitoring machine operations. Ensuring parts meet required specifications and quality standards by following CAD drawings or written instructions.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities Review drawings, CAD or instructions to understand specifications of parts to be made Takes measurements and mark material for cutting Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job Monitor machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues Monitor output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages Wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Preferred Skills and Experience Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy and attention to detail Great verbal and written communication skills Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, grinders etc.) Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals Knowledge of metal properties and other material Outstanding mathematical skills and analytical abilities Must be able to stand and walk for 6-8 hours in a workday Ability to lift up to 50lbs Education and Training Vocational school or apprenticeship preferred What We Offer At Mezzo Technologies , we believe that our people are our most valuable asset.
