Manual Machinist

Job Description Manetek, Inc is looking for a Manual Machinist to join our team. This position is responsible for performing machining and assembly tasks on a variety of metal parts. The manual machinist will use a lathe to turn parts on a production line, and perform other duties as directed by the supervisor. The manual machinist will work in a manufacturing environment that requires some safety precautions, including wearing protective gear and using air-powered tools. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Experience with metal turning or milling Experience with milling or turning of parts Experience with the use of measuring devices (diameter gauges, micrometers, calipers) Ability to read blueprints and drawings (preferred) Ability to follow written instructions Ability to understand and carry out oral instructions Ability to use measuring devices (diameter gauge, micrometers, calipers) Ability to read blueprints and drawings (preferred) Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Ability to perform physical requirements of the job: standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, repetitive bending of the wrists, pushing or pulling of hands, reaching with hands and arms over their heads, etc. Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings: background check, drug screen, physical screening Work Remotely•
