QUALIFICATIONS
MUST
HAVE MINIMUM OF THREE YEARS EXPERIENCE RUNNING A HOLLOW SPINDLE LATHE IN OILFIELD JOB SHOP.
(BORING, TURNING, CUTTING
VARIOUS CONNECTIONS INCLUCING API, STUB ACME, BUTTRESS ECT.
)
MUST BE SELF STARTER NEEDING MINIMUM SUPERVISION. MUST BE CAPABLE OF READING PRINTS RESPONSIBILITIES
MUST
BE CAPABLE OF EFFICIENTY OPERATIING ASSIGNED MACHINE. MUST OWN MOST OF HIS/HER HAND TOOLS, MICROMETERS, CALIPER, INDICATORS, ETC. MUST BE ABLE TO MAKE SOUND MACHINING DECISION IN CASES WHEN IMMEDIATE SUPERVISION IS UNAVAILABLE. MUST BE CAPABLE OF LEADING A SMALL GROUP OF EMPLOYEES IN THE MACHINE SHOP. SHOULD THE NEED ARISE. MUST BE CAPABLE OF TRAINING LESS EXPERIENCE MACHINIST. MUST BE ABLE TO PROMOTE RESPECT, COURTEOUSNESS, DEPENDABILITY, GOOD HOUSEKEEPING, MOTIVATION, LOYALITY AND SAFETY THROUGHOUT THE COMPANY ON A DAILY BASIS. MUST BE SELF MOTIVATED AND HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE. ABLE TO LIFT 30
