The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating manual machining equipment. This role requires proficiency in various machining techniques and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, ensuring precision and quality in all manufactured components. Duties Operate manual lathes, milling machines, and other machining equipment to produce high-quality parts. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to ensure accuracy. Perform CNC programming for lathes and milling machines when required, including Fanuc controls. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the facility. Requirements Proven experience as a Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes. Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) for accurate part specifications. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tasks. Ability to work effectively with tooling, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
